It is not my fault. It is the fault of the person who ordered the goods, and the company which delivered the goods, and the delivery man who kept it on the porch.

Right? Now we have to get into the mindset of the person approaching the door and stealing the package? It was an impulse? They didn't really mean to do it? Note to Clara-the package thieves follow delivery drivers. They know what they are doing. It's become so common that companies have set up locked boxes off site for people to have packages delivered. So common that our household and our neighbors have packages sent to each other's homes if packages are going to be delivered during a time when we might not be home.

I don't necessarily think it's more acceptable, I was responding to the poster who apparently believes impulse theft is better than planned theft.
