I just realized that might have sounded kind of pompous. It's just like pulling teeth to keep him from eating crap all the time. He's totally pigheaded about it, and he has high blood pressure and kind of high cholesterol, so I try to avoid things that are really high in sodium, which would be everything IN a Reuben! Unfortunately! They are good.

Oh, no, I didn't take it that way at all. My cholesterol is slightly high (borderline), but DH insists on bringing in ice cream, chips, and cooks all this fattening stuff. I keep telling him neither one of us should eat it (he's even on cholesterol lowering meds) but he won't stop. I hate it. Love the food, hate the results.

Pizza is my favorite. The other day in chemo edu. class, I was asked what my favorite foods are. One is pizza. The nurse told me that if I wanted it to continue to be my favorite, that I should skip eating it on my chemo days or I would start disliking it. Of course Charlie piped in and told her he was going to feed me chocolate. Guess he thinks I eat too much chocolate.
