They are all exemplary schools but everyone is so opinionated about it. It looks like most of the proposals involves splitting up Old Settler's Elementary.
Then OP, watch this if you are considering any of the older homes in Wellington.

I wouldn't worry about Wilson. It isn't the prettiest, but I think it is fine. And man, you should see some of the homes that feed into that school. Crazy. (In a good way)

Thanks for the detailed stats. I am going to check for these reports going forward to get some idea about the schools. Compared to Wilson, Vickery has twice the ED and LEP students. So, that might not be a fair comparison on my part. Is it going to be difficult for Wilson to become exemplary with large LEP population. Please let me know If i am missing something. Does "At-Risk" implies something from these stats.

There are several options for High & Sr High with our new Health, Technology & International Baccalaureate academies.
Bypass12,
Thanks for the information. I am going to check for Elementary schools. Listings still showing SCHIMELPFE as part of Plano West feeder system.

In fact I haven't met a single parent moving out of the area because of the trailer park across the street. Lots of extremely expensive homes feed into this school and they aren't pulling their kids out to put them in private school. I'm going to do some copying and pasting due to previous discussions about Wilson.
Hi jekutz,
Thanks for detailed information about this school. We are going to consider homes in this school area when available without any doubts.

That was a 1-year option deal for the Class of 2015, no longer valid.

Schimelpfenig area students for the Class of 2016 and beyond are assigned to Clark/PSHS. They DO have a guaranteed transfer, if desired, to Jasper for 9th/10th grade, but NOT to Plano West for 11th/12th. In fact, PWSH was closed to transfers for Fall 2013 - the first time that's EVER happened.

There are community meetings scheduled for February to consider suggestions and requests and then they will make a final proposal to the School Board. What will actually happen is still up in the air. They tried to do some re-zoning with Shadow Ridge a few years ago and move some of those kids to Forestwood and the parents threw such a fit it didn't happen. Hi Morgan,
Thanks for the information.

Not the best. Mediocre builder at best but because those homes are in Coppell they do tend to sell OK.
