Have you been to Stonebriar on a weekend? It's always packed (and yes, people are actually shopping and not just walking around).

I hope Willowbend doesn't close. We go there instead of Stonebriar because it's not as busy. They are pumping a lot of money into it right now too.

Willowbend in the late 2000s looked like a ghost town some days but it has bounced back to the point that I don't like going there (too crowded).

Stonebriar has been packed the few times I've ventured that far north. I'd be shocked if it (or Willowbend) closed anytime soon.

It's a shame they ruined Northpark though.

How did they ruin Northpark? They still have some really nice stores and are extremely popular. The parking sucks though so I always do the Dallas thing and valet park.

Northpark for the past year has been like in crazy relocations mode. I'm sure if you go there often its no big deal, but go there just every couple of months and you have to constantly search to find the store you went there for or check the map to see if it got kicked out.

Northpark used to be a very nice mall of a size that you could manage. Now they've - what, roughly doubled the size? - and all the traffic around it, parking are orders of magnitudes worse, and the whole ambience of being smaller but very nice has been completely lost. It's just another Galleria or Mall of America now. I guess that was what happened once Nasher sold out.

It's more than double from original size but that was what 1965? The expansion was also in 2006. It's nothing like the Galleria (Houston or Dallas) or The Mall of America not remotely close.

BTW it's a little complex but Raymond Nasher sold to Nancy Nasher.

Willowbend has come back nicely since they now allow a wide variety of tenants of all sorts and price points, from furniture stores to even a convenience store plus all the children stuff and the perpetual traffic visiting the Apple srore
