My next door neighbor has no license plates, not even paper, no registration or inspection stickers. I could have dialed the police on her countless times but why should I become enemies with my neighbors?

Just mind your own business please. If they don’t have headlights on and get into an accident they will be found guilty or a police may catch them and cite them for that.

Yet I see both on a daily basis.

Where's the outrage?
Understaffed PD. See these things and other stuff, including INSANE driving, daily.

This from the realtor in his mid-20s who's trying to harass a homeowner into selling his house.

Mind your own business, kid.

Just yesterday early afternoon, headed north on Midway just north of Spring Valley near Greenhill School, in the left lane..........there's gal driving an old school beater Nissan with FL plates. Keep in mind she's in the left/fast lane and going way over the speed limit - maybe 55 or so.

In the course of about five seconds she brakes very hard, hits her blinker indicating a right turn and begins drifting right (I was about 100 feet behind her in that same middle lane) so she's about half in the left and half in the middle lane going about 30, then she gives it a lot of gas and proceeds to make a violent U-turn (crapped out old Nissan I remind, tires screeching, car sliding/torque-steering at about 40 mph) across the lane and a half she was in on Northbound Midway, near-perpendicularly through the turning lane and she ended up in the middle lane on Midway going south after crossing all the way to the curb on that side of the road, she hit the curb hard, and yes cars were everywhere. Unfortunately no Farmers Branch cops tho.

I'm not religious but I nearly said a Hail Mary prayer anyway.

Good grief. And where were those infamous FB police? I giggle when I see people speeding through FB, not when I see crazy things like what you saw, that would have scared me to death. I wish them well, have fun with your speeding ticket!

These people usually have drug problems barely work and get by, sometimes illegal, no Insurance, barely keep their car on the road. I have a buddy who is an Ex RE Appraiser who lives in his car due to his previous drug abuse. He's dug a hole so deep he'll never get out, no drivers license, no insurance and warrants in almost ever city. Yet he has to have a car to get to work and get his kid to school. More than once, I've had to go get him out of jail due to the warrants. And the more he drives the bigger the debt hole.

He won't listen to me. I tried to convince him in the long run instead of living in his car it would be best to sell it, rent a room and Uber ever where he needs to go. Uber would cut down on all the tickets and a need for Insurance.

No, he likes the "Freedom". Such a D.A.

Keep your Insurance in place. These people have none.

I'm not gonna' lie. I felt a serious-10 second rush of full on road rage. I also feel lucky. The weather was gorgeous so I had my windows down and top open - I could hear her car coming from behind and to my left, squeaky strut(s) or a fan belt problem - something was really loud. As she moved past I slowed down (which I rarely do) but even before the 40 mph U-turn she driving so violently I decided a good bit of room was in order.

1. I have a cousin who has buried himself similarly. His inability to behave/stay away from drugs has devastated his life. He has a place to live but no DL, no insurance for many years, we didn't allow our kids to be around him for several years, his pre-teen girls who live with thier mom - she's a class-A loser as well - want to move in with us etc.

2. Hope your friend emerges from the fog at some point. My cousin has pretty much ruined himself, my son an MD, thinks cousin has early tainted heroin induced Parkinsons.

I'm a Dallas native and I've been driving on these roads longer than most people here have been in Dallas.

It wasn't always this way, nor does it have to be.

Or are you happy to see your country turning into a third-world hellhole?
