It is interesting about these grocery stores. I went into Costco and my supermarket last week with a sense of dread after seeing pictures empty shelves and those long lines just to get into Costco. With the exception of absolutely no toilet paper, Costco was fine. No more people than normal. I didn't bother looking for hand sanitizer. The grocery store was fine last week too. They were running low but still had toilet paper and paper towels. All the other shelves seem well stocked.

A much different story this week at the grocery store. Much more crowded. No paper products at all. Almost all of the rice was gone. All of the pasta was gone except for the store brand. Few people wanted any that . The meat, frozen food, butter, and the refrigerated Pillsbury products were running very low to almost gone. I am glad I ignored the "don't hoard" message and got what I needed last week to last me at least a month. Slim pickings now
I faced a similar experience with shopping at Costco and supermarkets. But month worth supply is not hoarding. I think you're fine.

I went at lunch and it was a nightmare. Thankfully, I work in a very unhealthy-lifestyle area, so I had my pick of fresh fruit and veggies, almond milk, and the stuff I normally buy. However, if you want cheetos, Dr Pepper and cigarettes, don't go to Kroger in SE Garland

Speaking of milk, there were gallons and gallons of whole milk. A ton of it. I hope this wasn't a miscalculation and someone buys that milk before it all goes bad. They should have brought more half&half because they were out of the brand I like

Please use the following link to track the Coronavirus numbers. In the drop-down, you can go and see individual countries and for US, you can see numbers of individual states. For each state, you can then drill down to active, recovered cases and death.

THIS TRACKER IS FROM MICROSOFT. SO I WOULD TRUST THIS SITE FOR REAL DATA MORE THAN ANY OTHER PREVIOUSLY POSTED LINKS/WEBSITES:

The breakdown of order in society and self protection. It would make sense that there's a run on guns and ammo.

Maybe this has been covered already but how does one get tested for Covid in DFW if there is concern about symptoms? Heard about Parkland drive-in but on their website they say it is only for existing Parkland patients! All DFW hospitals have a lot of info on their web-pages about symptoms, social distancing, etc but none about something as basic as how to get tested at their hospitals

If anyone is aware of how this works, would appreciate details. TIA!

I think people are getting prepared for the possibility of looting, such as breaking into someone's home to look for food or anything else they might want.

I've never been interested in guns, nor has my husband, and we decided a long time ago we didn't want guns in our home, especially with kids in the house. But that has all changed now and my husband went out and bought a gun last week.

I have heard they will only test people who have recently traveled.
