Here you go:

23 Students Fight it Out at Trotwood-Madison High School
Quote:
23 students were involved and are all charged with disorderly conduct charges. All but two students were taken to the Juvenile Internention Center. The other two are 18 years old, so they were jailed at the Montgomery County Jail.

The Trotwood-Madison City Schools suspended all of the students.

Police say the fight stemmed from accusations that a student stole some items from a classmate.
And you wonder why the people, the money, the jobs, and the retail is beating feet out of Trotwood as fast as they possibly can.

I'm guessing you live in Huber; why don't you run for office if it's so bad?

1. Never knew Huber Heights was known as the Brick City.

2. This is actually a neat idea. Granted they are putting their own spin on things. But, kind of nice someone out there is reporting on what is going on at city counsel meetings for their city. Especially with the Mayor saga they have going on.

Every city council should have groups of citizens babysitting. When citizens look the other way is when the shenanigans begin.

The problem is, the "shenanigans" have been going for alot longer than this group has been around.

There's some kind of lunatic at that meeting who submitted "recall signatures" for the mayor. They are supposed with the Huber Democrats. I find that hard to believe when the council is acting Republican.

Really, when people want to get involved in their community, it's usually for political games. There's a firehouse needing replaced, officers that need hired with the growing Heights expansion, and nobody seems to care about the important things.

In this case, they can keep this rogue Dem group out of it. The Brick City people are the ones who are really working for "the good people"

Now that we are into summer (for all intents and purposes) the urban prairies (AK overgrown weed filled lots) of the "fabulous ruins of Dayton" show well!

All the overgrown grass and poor property maintenance makes for some very good curb appeal....if you are into ruin porn.

(Just stuff I noticed taking busses 4 and 2 through the east side the other day)
