Wait!! wait!! wait!! Please back up. Did you say BBQ festival?

I had no idea about the event. Known to enthusiastically partake in good BBQ, you'd
think that after a few years here I would have known about this.

Thank you for the tip. I will definitely attend next year's festival.

Come April, I will raise my dry rubbed slow smoked ribs to you in appreciation.

Looking for fun in all the wrong places? There are 2 BBQ festivals we attend every year in Delaware - Harrington Casino and Dover Downs, sometimes Middletown, and there are others. Google is your friend.

I'm familiar with the Middletown event, but didn't know about the aforementioned event.

Nonetheless, for social events, I prefer "Bing is your buddy" as it has superior content aggregation.

Google's page rank algorithm is better for local search but falls short on aggregation.

I had read of the BBQ Festival in Delaware Today magazine and noticed it coincided with my planned trip. It was called Triple Threat BBQ Festival. The night I went, all the vendors cooked wings, the next day was ribs and I forget what the third day was. It was the first time they had this festival in Delaware. But a few months later, there was a similar cook-off held at one of the casinos in CT. I really enjoyed it; had never been to anything like that before. I thought the State Fairgrounds was a great place for it to be held; lot of parking, real restrooms, etc. I hope they have it again this year coming.

Well newmassphd, I share your enthusiasm for BBQ but your comment prompts me to respond with the "Great Debate" that I enjoyed while briefly living in Memphis...

I'll gladly pass the dry rubbed ribs to you if you will slide the wet ribs over to me....

Enjoy!
