We are moving from KS to the Lakewood / Littleton area, and need to rent a furnished apartment or weekly rentable hotel with kitchen setup, etc.. for a few months. Our livable income will be tight until we generate income from our new jobs so we need something affordable for a family of 2 adults and 2 children and one dog. I found an apartment furnished for sublet in the Carmel Apts. Just wondering about that area since our 13 year old will be in school in the area that we settle in. Any advice would be great. I have a job secured in Littleton and my husband will be working in the Denver/Boulder areas. Thanks everyone!

Which community? There are quite a few in Lakewood. I lived a block from the ones at 1724 Robb St. I like the area.

I've lived in the Lakeview Towers and One Belmar Place apartments, both under the Carmel Apts umbrella. They're pretty decent. Nice places and the management is fairly responsive. Check around though and read some reviews because their complexes do differ from one another. Lakeview Towers are older and they have concrete floors between apartments. One Belmar is newer and "nicer" but they were built quickly and the walls and floors are paper thin. But overall, I'd recommend the company as a decent solution for someone looking to make a quick move and not wanting to do a ton of research/hunting.

Let me know if you want any more info on Carmel Apts. They're the only company I have experience with since I moved to Denver, been paying them rent for 4 years.

I spent a year in Carmel apartments (silver reef).

I assume that Carmel apartments are run similarly regardless of which one you live at and I found the stay there enjoyable, the staff were friendly and the apartments and surroundings were always clean.
