How cool is that! When we had that big snow Dec. 1, the day of my surgery, my husband came home from the hospital to find that the next door neighbor had shoveled our driveway and walk. Coloradans like to be good neighbors!

That is so nice to hear; not just for CO. My dad had open heart surgery last January. The day of the surgery, the metro boston area got a severe storm - 22 inches in less than 12 hours. My mom and I drove home to find that their neighbors cleared their driveway and walkway. Massachusetts had a particularly bad winter last year. Every storm, the neighbors cleared my parents driveway.

I live here in CO and my brother was too lazy to help at all. When I was home, I tried to give the neighbors a gift for their kindness, they wouldn't take it.

It is so nice to hear that there are still some folks that are thoughtful.

We had roughly 2 feet in Elbert...with drifts of 4 feet! Crazy! My (4) dogs and I had a great day of snowshoweing and any time I sit on my tractor in the winter is great.

I shoveled three times in two days. I am sore this morning. I was so happy to see the sun pop out yesterday.

How wonderful to have great neighbors, no matter where they are! My parents' neighborhood in suburban Pittsburgh had a similar neighborliness about it.

What's the average annual snowfall? 50-some inches? I think we've gone over average. That means it can't snow any more. YAAAAYYYY
