If you like sun and humidity then you might want to try south Florida. According to Wikipedia (not the most reliable source but usually close) Miami gets 3154 hours of sunshine to Denver's 3106. I lived in Fort Lauderdale and I can verify that despite its overall high precip. it's a very sunny place (the rain tends to come in heavy downpours in the afternoon followed by clearing. Plus SAD is virtually nonexistent there since the day length doesn't change much throughout the year (compared to Denver at latitude 40).

Another aspect of dryness that people don't think about much is the extremely dry indoor conditions that occur during the winter in cold climates (because of forced air heat). That may be why you have dry skin problems in Boston. In that respect anywhere with mild winters that doesn't require the same degree of indoor heating would likely be better then Colorado even if that area got less rainfall then Denver. (But note that in Denver and eastern Colorado deep winter is by far the driest season.)
