This is a joke right?

Tebow vs Manning really?

Manning at 60% is still better than Tebow at 100%

The Denver Broncho's will be lucky to have 7 wins this next season with or without Tebow. Manning will be lucky
to survive injury (not to his neck necessarily ) but based on an inconsistent offensive line he will be out by the forth
game. I can't find who is the present backup quarterback for Denver? Anyway, I heard he was as good as Tebow or better? I really don't care. Football to me is a pseudo-religion and people get too wrapped up in winning when
Tebow represents one of the few modern role models of this generation and is a major draw (if attendence is important ?) Tebow is so exciting and IS football, He is the essence of what we dream of what football should
be in spite of his mediocre stats. The Broncho's team as a whole deserves many accolades for last season's un-
believable play and the fans are awesome ,but the removal of Tebow rips the heart out of Denver and football. Sure
it was a Tebow circus while Tebow was focused on the team not himself. Jacksonville has attendence issues and IF attendence is important Tebow will draw standing room only.....duh!!

It wasn't anything personal. Someone better came along and Elway went for it. Why wouldn't he? His job is to win football games.

I'm glad to see him go personally. He seems like a nice guy, but he is WAY overrated. And I'm sick of being looked at like the anti Christ when I saw I don't like him!

Jets are a better fit for Tebow, Rex Ryan wants a running attack whereas Elway & co want a precision passer and a quick run to the SB.

Good for Tebow. I don't really care about his religious background. I think the Broncos screwed him.

That's over and done.

I hope Tebow does good after he leaves. I never cared about Manning, I only liked him after he got injured (and his commercials) but now that he's back and ready to play I can go back to cheering against him.

Everyone wanted to make excuses to make Tebow look worse than he was. Look at the offense he worked with and you try to tell me he could have done much better. Even when his passes were dead on, his receives just simply dropped the ball.

Someday Tebow will be a pretty good QB, albeit he won't be the next Tom Brady, but he'll make much more of a mark than Brady Quinn (lol)

looks like my Jets did not read the contract, there is now a holdup about the $5 kickback to the Broncos...I am so tired of the second rate nature of the current Jets front office and ownership, while I never seen a Super Bowl under Leon Hess, the team was never a sideshow like it has been under Woody Johnson...l have always liked Elway as a player, like that he may put his legacy as a front office guy on the line with this move, big risk if Manning gets taken out and the following Tebow has (as well as years ahead of him)

if I ever finally gave up on my teams (Mets, Jets,Nets,Islanders) The Broncos & Rockies would be front runners...(I would only root for teams in cities where I could see myself living, and Denver is up there)

as awful as the Wilpons are, not sure if I can ever give them up...bad habits die hard and kill you...but thats why they are called bad habits...I was looking foward to Tebow on the NYJ...the team needs his class more then his talent (or lack there of, depending on your stance)

if the deal goes through, I hope it's Broncos vs. Jets in the AFC Title game.

This would be true even if we accept your incorrect assumption that Tebow is currently in his prime, which he's not - he peaked in college, and he's hardly the first QB to shine in college and be mediocre in the pros. It happens often. I don't know why people keep trying to justify Tebow's mediocre play, other NFL QBs aren't afforded this benefit of the doubt. Even though I'm sad to see Tebow go, the NFL is a business, Elway and the decision-makers know that, and I'm thrilled that Manning is a Bronco.

I followed Tebow all the way through College @ Florida, his time at Denver, and his history as basically a Never Give-up- Hard Working Christian athlete. And even though I'm a transplanted NY'er,►
I don't see this as a Good move at all. For any one- Not Tebow, the Jets, JAX, or Denver for that matter. For Many reasons...(that we've all heard)
AND I'd take Manning over Tebow too.!!
Obviously the JETS think differently.!! LOL

I just hope that after a few Sanchez interceptions and the J-E-T-S fans screaming for "Tebow Time" that when Tebow does not perform to NY standards- He isn't Crucified on the Cross,╬ by the NY Media.!
It's a potential 'Nightmare' !!! → But he's a big boy..!

Denver , you probably let him slide actually-- Hope you enjoyed the run.! and -
I hope NEW YORK will 'Enjoy' Tebow as well
He's actually one of the good guys- !

NY NY~ Frank Sinatra sings for Tebow.!

Manning is a true southerner, Tebow is a Floridian. Enough said.

As a bonafide Steelers fan I personally could care less. The Jets are a joke and will not win their division until Brady retires, and the Broncos division is iffy at most but at least they can win it outright with Manning.
Tebow got lucky last year in the playoffs, but I guarantee that the next time that he goes against the those boys from Pittsburgh he won't be so lucky
