snow YTD: 13 1/2 inches to finish off December.

Jan 1st saw 1 inch, 3 inches on the 4th (with Arctic front #4), 2 inches on the 5th. A trace of snow on the 12th, 2 inches on the 14th, trace on the 22nd, 3 inches on the 23rd (with Arctic Front #5), 1/2 inch on the 26th (Arctic Front #6 <This is the one that sideswiped us and really hit the northeast>), 3 inches on the 27th, trace on the 28th, 4 inches on the 30th, and 2 more on the 31st. Making the snow total for the month 20 1/2 inches. That makes the :

snow YTD: 34 inches.
The catch up from my last post that ended on Jan 31, 2014:

Feb 1st saw 1 inch of snow and that brought a cold -1°F on Sunday morning. There was 2 inches of snow on the 4th (with Arctic front #7, the last so far), the 5th had a trace. Remember that Arctic front brought a -1 high and -19 low for the 5th for Denver. Traces of snow again on the 9th, 10th, 20th, 22nd and 1/2 inch on the 23rd. Flurries on the 25th ended the month of February with just 3 1/2 inches of snow. That made the YTD: 37 1/2 inches.

March:

1st saw 2 inches, 2nd just flurries. 1 inch overnight on the 4th, 4 inches on the 5th (YET to see something more than 6 inches thus far in the snow season!). The 7th saw 2 inches, 1 inch on the 8th. 2 inches on the 11th. A trace on the 15th and 18th. 1 inch on the 22nd. The month totaled 13 inches. That makes the:

snow YTD: 50 1/2 inches.

About 6" on my mailbox, patio table, etc this morning here in Louisville. I do live in the "high-altitude" part of town.

I have about 3" of wet/heavy in Arvada. Melting slowly (but not as slowly as I would like).

And now my wife says there was just about 6" when she took the kids to school this morning.

I don't know what you all are talking about, it is 70 degrees here in San Diego. Sigh, this is the last day of vacation and I will be back there on Saturday.

Saturday ended up being a nice day as well as Sunday. Tuesday thru Friday look well, not too hot or too cold. Sunday looks like the next chance for some snow/rain. It was lightly snowing this morning around 10am.
