Try it with CA plates. People will get out of your way.

Okay, sorry late to the party, but I recorded the first snowfall to be on October 4th, no accumulation. October 18th we had 2 inches, then about 1/2 inch on Oct. 20th, then snow Oct. 29th no accumulation. So for October snow total was 2 1/2 inches.

November saw no snow until flurries on Nov. 20th and about 3 inches on November 21. Another half inch on Nov. 25th. So November saw 3 1/2 inches of snow.

Snow YTD: 6 inches.

I live around Green Mountain in Lakewood. No "plume" yet.

Haha! Believe it or not, I've had a weak version of a plume for about the last 2 weeks.

Make sure your furnace works. When it doesn't work, use your oven, if you need to heat your place. Fireplaces can suck the heat out of other rooms. Make sure you supply your humidifier, the added water makes the air feel warmer.

Test your carbon monoxide detector. If you have not already this year, replace the batteries in your detectors.

You can open cabinet doors to the plumbing and drip water from a faucet furthest from where it enters your dwelling.

Use space heaters sparingly and not in the babies room.

Do not hesitate about staying somewhere else

Just had my furnace checked. I even had a second opinion on it because the first guy said it need to replaced at a cost close to $5K. The second guy laughed and said it was in perfect shape. Watch out for the scam artists out there.

This is why when it comes to service type jobs, ALWAYS get a second, if not a third, opinion on doing something. Timmyy, glad you got a second opinion and glad everything is good with your furnace.

You're going to have to if you plan on leaving your house the next few days.
