snow YTD: 12 inches.
From my last post Dec 11th. Here's the catchup. Trace of snow on Dec 20th and 21st. 22nd saw 1/2 inch and another 1/2 on the 23rd. Trace on the 28th, and 1/2 inch on the 29th with Arctic front #3. Month total was 7 1/2 inches making the:

snow YTD: 13 1/2 inches to finish off December.

Jan 1st saw 1 inch, 3 inches on the 4th (with Arctic front #4), 2 inches on the 5th. A trace of snow on the 12th, 2 inches on the 14th, trace on the 22nd, 3 inches on the 23rd (with Arctic Front #5), 1/2 inch on the 26th (Arctic Front #6 <This is the one that sideswiped us and really hit the northeast>), 3 inches on the 27th, trace on the 28th, 4 inches on the 30th, and 2 more on the 31st. Making the snow total for the month 20 1/2 inches. That makes the :

snow YTD: 34 inches.

Thanks for keeping these stats. Just reading it, Louisville's totals seem similar.

I haven't had time to keep stats this year, but I can say with complete certainty, that even though much of this winter has been generally "mild", the plume has been a beast since at least mid-November. Bigger than she's ever been.

I should be vacating the location that houses this plume in a couple of weeks, which will be bittersweet for us both.

These are from 1/17: She has only grown since then.

yep, that was awesome. we were in Centennial looking up at the skies, snow and lightning. wow.

Overall, it's been a pretty weaksauce winter for the Denver Metro area, as far as snow is concerned.
