Where is the Tattered Cover? I love books & I'd love to see it in person, especially after seeing the pics.

I've really enjoyed all these pics & I really like walking down the 16th St. mall while I'm on my lunch hour. Its very festive.
Tattered Cover is at 16th Street & Wynkoop Street, Denver. 1628 16th Street. There are several other Tattered Cover bookstores in the area as well.

The bagpipe guy was standing in front of the building just northwest of the D&F Tower, between Lawrence and Arapahoe on 16th Street. At least on Friday night he was.

Yeah, that's one of my personal favorites, too! I'm just not quite tall enough to get the good pics, need a little help now and again.

Yes, thanks for the pics Averie-Jay... especially the parade of lights. We missed it this year, definitely have to catch it next year. Glad you are enjoying Denver and Colorado.

Yea, when I was younger, I spend all my time looking for girls, now, I spend all my time looking for the bathroom., thanks to my prostrate.
I believe that once you are prostrate, the likelihood of finding the bathroom is not so good. Hopefully, your prostate will prevent you from becoming incontinent in such an event.

Has anyone seen the old dude on the motor scooter that plays recordings of him playing the clarinet? Man, he's ALWAYS on the 16th st mall.

AverieJ, Thanks for taking the time and put these pics up. I love watching Denver through your pictures. I've never been there and was considering to move some where close to there. I have decided to home instead next year, hopefully, but you have made it hard again to not reconsider CO!!! Tattered Cover is the bookstore are SUPPOSED to look like! Wow, that is my favorite! I never realized just what Downtown denver really was. I'm more impressed than I thought. Too bad you can't take your bullie-mix dogs there. My biggest negative of moving there.

Sigh, thanks for making it even more difficult to not think about it! LOL Keep it coming if you can. Make sure you take pictures of that Lounge you guys are talking about.
