These photographs are fantastic. I drive down 17th every weekday morning in awe of the gorgeous buildings and CLEAN streets. I noticed how clean everything is in those pictures. This is why we love Denver! Keep 'em comin'!

You made me misty posting those pictures. I miss Denver during the holidays. Lighted palm trees are nice but nothing like a Colorado Christmas! Thanks for posting.

Found it today, walking around LoDo, waiting for the parade and running of the longhorns down 17th Street...

After the parade, and lunch, we went back to the store. Walked out with a shopping bag full of books.....

Worth a stop anytime anyone is in the area, lots of places to sit and sip and they had a light menu too...

While walking around LoDo and the bookstore, I kept wondering if any of the C-D regulars were passing by....

I do that, too. No, I wasn't there today. I was working, giving shots to kids.

The Tattered Cover in Highlands Ranch is fabulously cozy, also. (And a little closer to Colorado Springs.) Whether LoDo or Highlands Ranch, I get there at least once a week and can't manage to leave my fluffy chair until half of the day has passed!

I've heard one of the other stores is super nice, not sure if they were talking about the one in HR or on Colfax in the old Lowenstein Theatre. Does anyone know for sure if any store is head and shoulders nicer than the other two?

Thank you for these pics. They are wonderful! I visited Denver in Dec 2005 and I remember the Christmas decorations. Thank God for this forum, I have been browsing posts for a couple of days and I am starting to like Denver more and more. Thanks again!
