Colorado – Denver – light rail
The folks on the New Mexico forum should read this thread. Some of the correspondents think their Railrunner is a waste of money. I live in New Hampshire and commute to Boston by bus. I would love a fast, secure and traffic jam proof rail system. The powers that be are working on extending the rail service from northern Massachusetts to southern NH.

I used to live in DC and I now have a house in CO. I have seen (but not ridden) the light rail in Denver, and I ride the light rail in the Santa Clara Valley (CA) regularly. The light rail will get you there, but don't expect anything nearly as nice or as quick as the Metro rail system in DC. The metro is almost a mirror image of BART in the bay area, and they are both very excellent public transit systems. Unfortunately they're not nearly as comprehensive as, say, the NY Subway (although DC Metro's a lot more pervasive than BART), but they sure are a lot nicer to ride -- a great way to get in and out of the city.

they are Grey moths about 1" long, they don't harm anything, but get quite annoying, especially if they land in a hallogen lamp (the smell gets bad) My cats love miller moth time, they get some good meals out of it lol.

Angry crabs!

I just moved here from Maryland last summer. Before I left, I ate a lot of crabs. This is my first summer without them and I'm feeling it, esp. these days when it is so hot here. I miss the crabs.

I've heard that you can't get live crabs in Colorado. I actually met a guy here from Annapolis that had them shipped live for a pretty penny. When they arrived, 1/3of them were dead. Apparently, local seafood distributors won't touch them because of their volatility.

If anyone does find a way to get live crabs in Colorado...please share!

Oh, for those of you not from the Mid-Atlantic...Live steamed crabs with Old Bay seasoning is the only way to go!

You can get live crabs at most of the Asian Markets. Try Viet Hoa or Pacific Ocean, both in Alameda Square (Alameda and Zuni), or try any of those in the Far East Center just south of Alameda on Federal. There's probably about half a dozen large-ish Asian markets there all of which will have live crabs.

I usually use a strainer, that fits perfectly in one of my pots. I place a lid over it, and put a few inches of water inside. Works like a charm.
