I appreciate it. I lived in AZ for a long while but am now back in suburban Detroit. I would never let anyone badmouth the "D" either. It's still a great city with some good people. I love being back home, it's just sad to see the burbs and the city are still not getting along very well and some people are even promoting that division.

Wish you could, too. We need more people here who want to be here. I am very thankful to have been able to move back and have a job. Hopefully you will be able to as well!

St8champ90 and And The both have a valid point. Y'all just on opposite sides of the line. You cant fault suburban people from wanting to be Detroiters. You also cant fault a Detroiter for wanting to be free of the mess because like And The said at the end of the day its all about providing for our families. Politics is always a mess and thats not gonna change anytime soon don't waste yourself for an institution that doesn't care nothing about you.

I used to tell people, when out of state, that I was from Detroit. But they kept taking a few steps back from me as if I was contagious or something.

Virginia Park area is nice. I really like the hood behind the St Regis there.

But the telephone is having trouble dialing AREA CODE -- 48202

Gott love the clowns that got laid off from Ringling Bros...
