Try different types of fruits. Melons and strawberries are some of the best and they have very low sugar levels. Back when I was battling diabetes, those were the recommendations. I never would've thought strawberries and watermelon would be low in sugar, but they are.. the two I avoid most are oranges and grapes, even though they are obviously not bad for you like cake and cookies, but they do have quite a bit of sugar when compared to other fruits.

Dang I love grapes. Good thing they are out of season. I love watermelon and strawberries too. I guess I can adjust to that.
I'm not ready to give up on fruit as some are suggesting. But I guess it's good to keep moderation in mind.
1 serving a day isn't going to kill you. Eat fruit at every meal & have increased body fat, insulin & ultimately triglycerides--------- it's your life, do what you want! Frankly I can't stand that much fruit-- Yuck, so sweet!

I have fruit once or twice, or SOMETIMES three times a day since I have been on WW (december). In that period I have lost almost 20 pounds, lost 5 inches off my waist line. I still need to get back to the doc to see what its done to my blood measures.
Of course in that period I am pretty certain I have reduced my TOTAL carb intake. By eliminating almost all sugar (other than in fruits or veggies), and by mostly eliminating white starches. And probably slightly decreasing my consumption of whole grain strarches, though Im not certain.
Yes, decrease carbs. There are several threads on here about the dangers of carbohydrates. Thanks for corroborating my testimony. I keep saying I didn't lose that much weight despite rigorous exercise for years on end till embarking on a low carb diet. It's like screaming in to a high wind trying to get through to people. You exercise, eat a lot of fruit & have gained weight............really?

I wouldn't worry about the weight gain at all, since all of your numbers look good. Unless you're not being honest with yourself about your diet, just keep doing what you're doing. Given your waist measurment and body fat percentage I'm betting that most of what you've gained is muscle.

Fruit remains an overrated sugar laden food that should be consumed in conscious moderation. Continuing to overcomsume fruit leads to weight loss plateau and in the long run possible relapse and weight gain.

I do not know, if your Blood Sugar is under control and other health markers are good, probably not. But for many people, carbs as a significant part of their diet is problematic.
Have you checked how many Americans are Diabetic or Prediabetic??????
