I have to agree, but then will not find anything in the house that I want to eat so I just grab an orange instead. I do need to eat probably 4-5 smaller meals a day..
Thanks!
A slice of pepperidge farm's 15 grain bread (110 cals) and a slice of skim mozzarella (60 cals), or get healthier cream spreads from Smart Balance, or skip the cream cheese for half a banana, and you have a 180 to 200 cal breakfast. There's a lot of fiber in that bread slice and it works wonders, while consumed with 2 glasses of water.
I make my mother eat this every day for breakfast (not every day, but often). She is a big breakfast skipping criminal
I think the average size of the American woman is size 8... This is based on the ebgay listings for skirt suits: size 8 has always had the most amount. I think other scientific statements were inaccurate stating size 14 is average - that's very big and chunky!
I was once obese going borderline type 2 diabetic at 205 lbs. 5030 road bike miles later / 2 years / regular eating no specific diet and I was 140 to 145 lbs. Kept the weight around 145 lbs for 4 year through frequent exercise. Got lazy to exercise 2009 to 2011 and went up to 161 lbs.
I still fit men's size small shirt though I buy mediums. Pants size 30. For crossdressing, I fit my big size 4's still, all my size 6's, but I guess I'm mostly a size 8 at 160 lbs now. Maybe size 6 true is at 152 lbs.
Isn't "normal" for women these days something like a size 14 or 16, especially for a middle aged woman? In which case normal, chubby and chunky would all count pretty much the same.
If normal is that size then I must be considered very thin.
It might be considered the norm because so many women are that size but it is still overweight
That all depends... I'm a woman who is 6'1 and at my thinnest (120 lbs) I was still a size 11. At my heaviest (210 lbs) I was a size 15. Right now I definitely need to lose around 30 or 40 lbs, but its tough with hypothyroidism.
I voted Normal, but I always think I look fat even though most wouldn't consider me fat at 6'1" and 145lbs. Like another posted stated, women are never happy with their weight! LOL Although for me the number on the scale is irrelevant. I'm just never happy with my body, but that's a whole different thread.
I'm 5'1" & was called "skinny Minnie" as a kid. My mom was 5'5" 110-115 in her 30s, pictures I've seen of my maternal grandmother show her as bony & thin. Being petite, small boned & a low weight is totally *normal* for me------it's genetic.

If it's genetic for you to be low weight, then why did you "struggle for years" in so many of your posts, being overweight, until you discovered how to LOSE all the weight you gained by limiting the types of foods you eat?
Eating the way you do, in order to be skinny, is NOT genetic. It is a conscious decision on your part. You CHOOSE to be skinny. Some people don't have to be on any kind of diet at all, can eat whatever they want, and their metabolism naturally keeps them slender.
You, according to your dozens and dozens and hundreds of posts, have to actually work on it. That ain't genetics.
I was never terribly overweight except once in highschool---120 is my high weight. I struggled with *increased body fat*--- up to 30% as opposed to my normal % which is 17-21----- as a vegan. I wasn't big physically since that's not normal for me due to being genetically small boned, but I did have a body fat test done in the summer of 1992 which showed me as being *clinically obese* on a meat & animal food free diet. I have activated my natural propensity for being thin from over a decade of correct eating for my metabolism.
