Sunday, 12/23:
• 2 cups (pre-cooked) mixed brown/white rice w/ low sodium soy sauce, non-dairy margarine and hot sauce
• 2 soy sausage patties
• 1 cup stir-fried broccoli
• coffee w/ organic stevia & almond milk

I stir-fried the broccoli with the sausage, pink Himalayan salt and Herbes de Provence, which is great stuff:

It sounded good until it got to Soy, I avoid it. I would use turkey, chicken or beef patties. Are you on a soy program?

You said OMAD, is this the only thing you ate today? How many calories are in this?

It's the only thing I ate (or drank) today. I don't count calories, so I don't know.

Oh, I didn't know that but I know a lot of people do avoid soy and mainly due to thyroid disruption. When I started with the soymilk craze years ago I was falling over with fatigue. Doc tested me and it was soy, and it really messed my thyroid.

Broccoli yum!
Wish my digestive system agreed. It tends to grumble and bloat.
Love it as a soup...that seems to be a compromise in enjoying it's flavor...

love most all veggies: broccoli is one of our favorites and it really lasts quite a while in the fridge. I also love cauliflower. I am not sure if broccoli really helps slow down aging look at how long Pres Bush lived and he hated the stuff. Regardless most veggies are good for us and are low in calories. it is what we put on them that ruins the low calorie part.

That's the reason I like to put broccoli and cauliflower in my salad.
If I cook them, there is going to be butter.
