Dude do you eat/drink alot of carbs?? Try to cut down on the carbs and go high intensity exercise to burn it off. Usually Visceral Fat is a sign of Insulin Resistance as too many carbs can cause that.
then I guess I'm doomed because after working all day when I get home I want to play guitar.20minutes this 60minutes that everyday...........my whole life would be work/sleep/exercise.
I work 8 hour + 2 on the road to go to work and back home.I'm not exercising every day for 2 hours afterthat.
So what's the best way to burn off flab on the sides and around the back of your waist?
There are few things you need to do:
1. Watch your nutrition. You need a healthy mix of carbs and protien. Stay away from bleached foods (white rice, white pastas, white bread) and go for the whole wheat stuff. Stay away from sodas, beers, sugars, etc. If you eat right and well, this alone would burn off that spare tire around your waist - but, you should still also exercise.
2. Resistance training - you'll be surprised at how lifting weights will increase how much fat your body will burn.
3. Side crunches, Russian twists, oblique raises, etc. All stomach exercises will help build the muscles in that area. Along with the fat loss from your diet you'll start to get that V shape.
4. Cardio - I mean real cardio. This is not "doing yardwork, or walking the dog" type cardio. I mean get out and run. Jump rope. Do something that will get your heart rate up and up for an extended period of time.

Do you work 7 days a week? I work 8 hours a day plus travel time, i have time to come home, cook dinner and go to gym for 1.5hr at least 3-4 times a week.
Your whole life is what you make out of it, it doesn't have to be work/sleep/exercise for the rest of your life, ya know. You make your own schedule to fit your lifestyle and stick with it.
You obviously not motivated enough or just don't really care enough to help yourself, and if you can't help yourself no one will.
