I've had b12 shots, but not for weight loss. I always thought it stimulated appetite as well. I have 25lbs to loose. There's no way I'd spend that kind of money to do it.

This is the first I've heard of this weight loss scam. I get B12 shots for a vitamin deficiency. I never lost a pound. In fact, I gained weight. These diet places come up with all sorts of scams. At least B12 is good for you. You can't overdose on it. I guess there's no harm if it makes someone believe it's helping. B12 for weight loss is like taking a sugar pill. It's a mind game.

I have to take prescribed Vitamin B12 shots. I have not experienced any weight loss.

Your regular doc can probably prescribe that vitamin regime for a fraction of the cost of the weight loss clinic.

Not to mention, insurance covers prescription vitamins.

My mother took B12 shots for 40 years for her nerves and it didn't do a thing for her weight. It has to be the other things in the shots that are helping you lose weight, or curb your appetite.

I'd guess the B12 is used as a supplement to help you stay calm.

Have you tried Patagonian Maqui Berry? People are seeing great results for weight loss ( and alot of other health issues) using it. Including my stepdad who has lost 22 pounds so far!
