Just read this thread--and am happy at the ending as well--just like a movie! But--what a jerk that guy is--he was willing to pay to put this dog on a plane and then treat her like this?? Crazy! And what is to stop him from getting another one to do the same to??
The laws are so inadequate. How can someone like this be stopped?
I just read through the whole thread and wanted to say that from the OP and her Dad to everyone else who posted, what a kick ass bunch of folks there are here on these forums. It really does restore ones faith in humanity. I sense a lot of extra blessings coming from St. Francis to you all.
And to the OP, please put up a pic sometime of this dear doggie. We would love to see her and hear how she does. I have a formerly severely abused dog myself and it will blow your mind when you see how out of their shells they can become when they finally realize they are safe and loved.
