Annie-Bannanie, one of my rescues used to be so shy, anything she does with personality cracks me up. One of my favorites is when I leave the house, she will take one, and only one of my slippers and lay with it in the living room until I get home. When she goes outside to play, she lays on her back in the grass with her legs sprawled on either side and I crack up laughing at my 'porno puppy'.

I'll wake up and my dog is curled tightly in a ball on the bed, sleeping. So I'll whisper "Go pee" (the command that means "Go outside and do your business.)" No matter how soundly she's sleeping, her head will fly up and she'll peer at me intensely to see if I really said that, or if she was just dreaming. I'll pretend to be still asleep. As soon as she puts her head back down, I whisper it again. This time she flies to her feet and sticks her nose in my face.

Sometimes I manage to get through 3 or 4 rounds of this, but usually I start laughing too hard by the 2nd time and then she knows for sure I'm awake so does her happy dance and runs to the door.

We are keeping a little dog for my granddaughter that plays with the cats like she is a cat. They wrestle each other like they are both cats. She begs to go outside to check on the out door kitties.

I LOVE this! Ours responds to "go do your pee pees" or "only good boys go pees".. I don't know if either works better than "hurry up or you're staying out here until I get home", but he seems to get a kick out of it!

Bella my lab/blue heeler/rottie mix sits like a person. She will sit in the corner of the couch near the arm with one front paw leaning on the arm or her head slung over the arm, she sleeps like this too sometimes, it's hilarious. Sometimes she'll hop up on my bed when I'm drying my hair and go nuts. She'll run around in circles, tangle herself up in the covers, stop for a minute and look at me and start back up again. It makes me laugh everytime even though she's tearing my bed apart.

Buster my pug/schnauzer mix does the head tilt, but he gets his really tilt like pugs do. Usually he has this blank look in his eyes and just tilts back and forth, back and forth, it's so cute. And at 2 years old, he still at times chases his little curly tail. I love his bark too, he has the schnauzer howl and it cracks me up everytime he does it, like he's trying to tell me something really important but just can't find the words.

Ever wonder where your socks go?

My labrador always carries one of my socks outside in his mouth.

When my husband does yard work, he always finds a few of my socks in the yard!

Occasionally, he finds a pair of underwear!

Thank God the underwear hasn't been mine---yet!

Here's another funny thing Susie does. I caption this photo "Who needs a bed when you have a nice hard wall to sleep against?" This dog can sleep anywhere, anytime, under any conditions!
