A&W was a rumor and still is. I agree with the Lifestyle center.... being ours only includes three spaces I feel that is should be strictly apparel spaces (being both spaces that are open are not large enough for restuarants). But if the mall can fill the space then that is better than it sitting empty.

I would love to see a free standing A&W somewhere in Duluth.

Being I am in the south right now, I really would die if Duluth ever got a Chick-Fil-A. But being Minnesota doesnt have one, excluding the U OF M location, I doubt it will happen soon.

aerie has been revealed at the Miller Hill Mall. The store is very nice and adds a lot of light to that area. The sign is sort of hard to read being its in front of a blue lit background.

Watched on WDIO this morning a segment on the mall. Turned out that Maurices is remodeling! They will begin next week and they remodel a little of their interior, but a major remodel will occur on their exterior. It will become more modern and appealing.

The mall wouldnt comment on anything else happening at the mall. But said it anticipates that more annoucements will be made soon. We know that Build A Bear will be coming in January 2010, Chicken Now is looking at the Food Court, Champs will be moving to where Buckle is and that Five Guys Burger and Fries is hoping to locate on the streetscape. I would think one of the announcements that would be coming would deal with what is going to happen to the old Champs and Charter spaces... I am hoping they have a sit down restaurant *cough* P.F. Changs *cough* that is going to go in the twor remaining spaces. Any nicer sit down restaurant would be nice. The mall needs to work on getting tenants that will keep people at the mall for long periods of times, more restaurants, a Dave and Busters and a Movie Theater are all needed.

Just thought I would give an update if someone hadnt seen WDIO this morning.

So are they remodeling the exterior of the whole mall or just back by Maurices?

When I say exterior, I mean the exterior/storefront. The part that is inside the mall for most tenants. Maurices will be remodeling their storefront, I probably should have used that instead. But the mall will most likely continue with the streetscape in the front with the Champs space.
