You "get" Cheerios from the grocery store. Nothing wrong with his usage.
And many people do "get" health insurance from their employer, either via deduction or partial payment or outright compensation. I don't see any implication of socialist freeware whining demand up there, as you're sort of implying here.
Despite the poster's history.
Last time I "got" Cheerios I was asked to pay for them. Name one employer offering healthcare without it being built into comp.
rents are where markets want them . just like your pay check . you need more income not lower rents if they do not line up because obviously others are .
Yet they have money for beer, dope, tobacco and lottery tickets.
Obviously, their priorities are whacked.
Seriously? I remember a friend of mine telling me when she was younger, she and her husband used to go without food so their kids could eat. They would tell the kids that mom and dad had already eaten. Her husband was working for the fire department and would later become a fire chief. I assure you, they were not buying beer, dope, tobacco, or lottery tickets.

You can't drive a nail into Randian concrete, Rod.
I’ll answer it for you. People can afford the rent just fine. That’s why the landlords can continue to command that rent.
Your wage isn’t high enough to support you living in that area.
Which is why, if you want to stay in the lowest income class, which can generally be done in any city, you should do that labor in a less desireable area....
Or you could compete for a higher paying job...and be able to afford the rent (or a home) in the desireable area.
well kids eat for free twice a day at school. there are of course soup kitchens and food banks... it is what it is. and people do steal food from stores.

I'll bet this connects to the discussion somehow.
