I believe it is "cherry-picking", but it is still a shock to see some college educated people cannot identify even just one country. Not even the US.

I guess this might make a good case against the legalization of marijuana as the kid seemed to know a lot of countries.

This is embarrassing but why is it they are only asking people who appear to be under 40?

At least they had the borders marked. I think I could probably get around 90-100 as a rough guess. Some of the African countries would trip me up.

That used to be a stunt on Leno, to ask simple questions and then show on air the dumbest people. It would be interesting to do a real study.

I can’t remember where Togo, Benin and so on are exactly on the west coast of Africa.

I can easily handle all of Europe, Asia and South America (100%). In Africa, I can get most places. In North America and Oceania, I struggle with some of the smaller island nations, but that's about it.

Because they are easy pickin's. They don't have a clue. If they picked older people they might get a bunch, which would spoil the show. Not fair to the kids really, since they don't teach Geography anymore......
But they should learn it on their own. Not a smart generation, for sure.....
