I worked today too and couldnt attend but thanks to everyone that showed up, sometimes people dont understand that there are a lot of supporters of this thing, we just cant attend a lot of these meetings and rallys because we are not all retired like the naysayers.

KROD's Steve Kaplowitz just owned the Mayor.

"Mayor Cook, you told me 4 months ago you looked forward to throwing out the first pitch opening day 2014, I hope you're still there."

Gotta love these chronic City Hall meeting whiners who have nothing better to do all day than show up and spout out misinformed platitudes. Too bad the meetings are in the morning because the silent majority is actually up working instead of these old codgers.

Today we learned who is pro El Paso and who is against it, Emma Acosta is a hypocrite at most, today she wanted to seize the moment to become popular, she better never think of running for mayor.
Eddie Holguin is a total waste of space at city hall, what has that man ever voted for to improve El Paso? NADA!
Carl Robinson! not the brightest light bulb in the bunch of council members, did he ever get his drivers license after all?
We have five days and hope that Mayor Cook don't veto this deal, I was hearing what some of the people told him today at the meeting when they said to the mayor that the very same people that want him to veto the stadium are the same ones that wanted to recall him. Without Question they are the same ones.
El Paso will get a new Insights Museum as was mention about a merger with the new proposed Children's Museum, and I do believe that El Paso will eventually get a new city hall within the next ten years.
And finally El Paso has turned the corner, the naysayers are fuming and I hope they start packing and moving out of town once and for all.
