Any fool? Does that include FOOL Obama's handling of the Gulf oil spill?

Obama didn't let that disaster interrupt his golf games, and HOW LONG did it take him to even visit the area? Dimbulb liberals have tunnel vision.

You mean 'wake them from their political sleep', so they can elect responsible local government? Perry doesn't run the fire department.

Assess the damage and needed resources.

Organize even greater task forces.

Assess for those who are in need due to the fires and organize relief help for them.

Assess and organize efforts to prevent further spread of wildfires.

Draft a emergency response and evacuation plan for the larger metropolitan areas in the event wildfires spread into them.

And anything else a governor is paid to think of and do during a state emergency.

And show me where this all hasn't been taken care of already. Based on my first hand experience everything you listed has been taken care of very well so far. It's not like assessing the damage and needed resources is going to do any good since you don't seem to want the fed to give TX back any more of it's money. TX doesn't need or want task forces, we want people with shovels and water hoses in their hands.

"Draft a emergency response and evacuation plan for the larger metropolitan areas in the event wildfires spread into them."

This little tid bit struck me as funny, this isn't the responsibility of the governor. These metro areas have mayors and other city personal who are paid to handle these things for their areas just like the mayor of New Orleans was paid well to handle evacuation plans and emergency response for his city before Katrina made landfall.

I wonder if you feel the same way about Gov Moonbeam in California, did he "organize a mega volunteer group" or did he do exactly what Gov Perry has done?

I didn't hear you whining when Katrina hit N.O. and both the Democratic Gov and Mayor sat on their hands waiting for the federal government to do what they should have done.

Your bias is obvious, your common sense and logic flawed.

This thread?

FAIL

You Liberal IDIOTS really pi$$ me off.........What the hell do you expect him to do?? Rick Perry doesn't control the weather or idiots that start these fires. The local fire departments in TX are working together to fight the fires, some are successful some have been a struggle. But us Texans can handle it.

I don't hear you wondering where Obama was during the Earthquake, the Irene and now Lee........Oh thats right, it's ok for Obama to be absent (which is probably a good thing), yet Rick is absent and you act like the world is coming to an end.

Get over yourselves you self righteous MF's!
