The real movement still exists, and Perry/Romney, or Bachmann aren't on the plate. Cain has more supporters from the legitimate tea party movement, than those 3.
So who exactly are these formalized Tea Partiers? Regular conservatives?

Media punching bags. They aren't of any importance, except for when the media wants to use them. It's politics, not a grass roots movement. The original movement was hijacked a while ago LOL! That is the cut-spending model. This new one is a neo-conservative model with ties to everyone, from the left, to the right. All people who live off fear-mongering, and little understanding of ideology, economics, and social behaviors.

I don't think that's quite understood yet here on C-D, but I'm pretty sure it's evident to the others who are running.

Oh, I think it's understood, I just still can't for the life of me figure out why???

I have got to give the Paul supporters credit----you are passionate, supportive, and vocal.

I am not a Paul supporter, but I do admire your tenacity and dedication.

Those of you who are Paul backers, in which direction should he go if he is denied the nomination----should he support the nominee, even if it Gov. Perry----or should he mount a third party run??

But aren't they the majority of the Tea Party now? If the real Tea Partiers are for Cain, they must be less than 10% of Reoublicans.

Yea no reason to tell the truth. Just keep the information away from the public. They're too stupid and would probably take things the wrong way.
I think it's best to keep business as usual and allow all these smart people to run our country.
Just proves to me some people are not serious about electing politicians with integrity.

Truth is treason in a government of lies.

The Elite (Bildebergers, et al) are backing Perry, so he will get strong backing from the media and financialy. Paul has the popular support. If Paul doesn't get the nomination, he will stand down. A third party candidate will just give the election to Obama.

First of all, that was just his opinion. One which most Americans do not agree with and especially those Americans in that auditorium tonight. You have to have some common sense and Ron Paul thinks he does, so he should use it.
