I would love to Rice or Santorum on the ticket.

Where's Newt?

Newt??? Are you being serious? Newt and Santorum will not be anywhere near this ticket IMO. I also do not see Rubio being considered any longer. He sort of shot himself in the foot on that one and I am actually sort of glad. He gets way too much credit and for what really? I think Bob McDonnell has been at the top of the list and I think he still is for some reason. That is just the indicators I see. Paul Ryan might also be in the top 3, but he can probably be utilized in a better role.

Condi is to tied to Bush's failed presidentcy. It will never happen. Maybe he is pick Palin. Republicans aren't known to pick good VP's.

He's never on any of the 'lists' I see, but I think Jim DeMint fits very well with Romney as a potential running mate. He is unquestionably conservative and he brings foreign policy credibility to the ticket -- something important with a governor as the nominee. And while South Carolina isn't a swing state, it probably helds the ticket in North Carolina from a regional/Southern standpoint, and the same probably holds true in Florida (which could be so close that even a very small assistance either way could be decisive). And he is basically the Tea Party face in the Senate.

Not an 'exciting' pick, but I doubt Romney is looking for that.

There is a plethora of good choices for Romney unlike Obama 2008, who had to settle for a plagiarist gaffe machine.
I don't think Condi is interested in wearing Mormon magic underwear.

Rice, really? Oh dear. Does she think that (after watching Cheney for 8 yrs) the role of the VP is to butt in every chance he/she gets? I hope she realizes that the role of the VP is to shut up & color and run insignificant errands for the POTUS.

I can almost hear Condi saying we need to bomb Iran. Just what we need: another war we cannot afford. More evidence that the GOP wants to turn back the clock to 2001.

This election cycle really sucks.

What on earth is your problem? Are you just some uninformed fifteen-year-old kid with bigotry issues or what? I have never seen so many idiotic comments as those you've posted recently. And the thing is, you can't back a single solitary one of them up with evidence.

Condi has an 80% favorable rating among Republicans, I guess the base doesn't have an issue with her.

Polls like this are just plain useles, and not even really entertaining. First of all, Condi isn't going to be asked (or most likely not) secondly she has no interest and I would love to see how many were actually polled and if they really were Republicans. I find it hard to believe Portman got an * as if he wasn't even a choice and Santorum got 21%.
