*There is a massive conspiracy between the pollsters to delude everyone and completely destroy their business models because they care more about temporarily bumming out conservatives than making money. And I know this because the brilliant genius Dick Morris says so.

*Governor Romney is a poor candidate and, given the choice between the two, the public prefers President Obama. Which is why Obama leads in almost all polls and why Romney very likely to lose the election.
LOL I love the fact the libbies are celebrating 5 weeks out should make for good entertainment value come Nov. 7 around here. If your margin in a poll can be explained away by the party ID an electorate that looks a lot different than the polling sample will spell doom for your candidate.
Obama maybe in the lead but to what degree if at all will be determined by who shows up to the polls from a week from now to Nov. 6.
I keep hearing references to '08 well Obama won independents by a wide margin he's tied with Romney in most polls among this group and behind in others.
Why is Obama leading in the polls? They're heavily skewed Democrat. Already explained here:
Yeah, it's strange. Pollsters act as though the vast majority of elections feature exit polls in which more self-identified Democrats than Republicans vote. Oh, wait... that's exactly what happens. Even in the epic Reagan landslide of 1984, more voters self-identified as Democrats.
Which is why opinion polls show the exact same thing.
