Don't know what your President's personal policies are. I am not informed. So I go on visual and auditory information. When I look at Obama and make a quick judgement about the man...all I can say is that he strikes me as being a mere boy. He is childlike. He is not a great and advanced thinker. He just does not strike me as someone with depth- Those that think that he is a savior of the nation are just as full of wishful thinking as those that elected and re-elected George Bush.

Why is there a trend in America to take people that are utter light weights and put them on the Presidential throne? In my estimation it is all about using figure heads while a committee of puppet masters put words in the mouth of the representatives...A President is supposed to represent everyone- not just some secret shifty self enriching elite- Rule by committee stinks.

How else would you explain the placing of the inept on the Presidential throne? This trend is not about democracy- it is about a new autocracy or plutocracy. Democracy is used as a ruse that facilitates the domination and abuse of America by a select few.

Obama has agreed to represent this dark elite- so did Bush- so did Clinton..America was never meant to be the private company owned by some dark elite who have no respect for the common everyday citizen- The nation is a lie.

The last thing you want to do is further devaluing the dollar. A strong dollar is a strong economy a weak dollar resulting with more debt is a weak economy. You can't borrow you're way out of debt. Obama and Bush screwed us up.
I have already disproved your assertion about devaluation of the dollar under Obama in this post: https://www.city-data.com/forum/26699286-post67.html It's clear that you get your ideas from some other places than facts, as you don't seem to even know what the Health Care law does. It simply mandates that everyone have health care. If you already get HC from your employer, there is no change. If you don't, you will need to buy a policy or get fined. You will no longer be able refuse to get insurance then show up at the ER when you get sick and pass the cost onto those who are insured.

The law also exempts businesses with fewer than 50 employees, which is my idea of small business. So, it you are claiming that ObamaCare puts a burden on small business, you are simply misinformed.

As soon as the Dems had taken back majority of the House in 2004 our economy started going downhill.
First, the Democrats took the House in 2006 not 2004. Second, Bush ran deficits all of this eight-years, most of which the Republicans controlled the White House, the House of Reps. and the Senate.

So to deflect Bush's responsibility with deficits requires a not only a lack of that conservative responsibility but also requires one to where blinders.

The idea that we shouldn't raise taxes on billionaires at all to help lower the deficit but it's just fine to slash Medicare, Medicare and Food Stamps to lower the deficit, is just screwed up values.

The last thing we need is to make it harder for these business to expand here instead of forcing them to expand else where due to higher taxation and over regulation.
Rich people don't create jobs, demand does. Next, companies aren't hiring people to do them a favor; they do it to make themselves money. If firing everyone in the nation would make them money, they'd fire everyone.

If your argument (can't really say because it is so convoluted) is that government regulations are hampering business, that's baloney. We have had boom times with the same regulations that we have now. Sanity check: The argument that we can't have a viable economy unless we allow business to pollute the air and water and exploit their workers is false by common sense.

Lightbulb How could anyone vote for Obama? Seriously?

For two weeks, he stated that it was the result of a video, when e-mail confirmations show that the state department knew that it was a coordinated terrorist attack the day of the attack. As Commander in Chief, how could he have not been more involved when requests for help were coming in? Four men lost their lives. This IS impeachable.

2) Obama talks like a gutter-mouth teenager: When answering a Rollingstone Magazine interview, Obama refers to Romney as a "Bull Sh-tter". Classy, Just Classy! This is Presidential?
Kids know the 'other guy' is a 'bullsh-ter,' Obama tells Rolling Stone | Fox News

3) Obama is a Marxist, a socialist of the highest order. Some would even argue that he is a communist, considering his communist connections and anti-American platform when it comes to economic and social policy.
https://www.city-data.com/forum/elect...u-support.html

4) Obama supports abortion, the murder of unborn children. How could anyone with God in their hearts truly support such an atrocious act? Obama supports abortion for every month of the pregnancy, proving not only is he extreme, he's super extreme.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSNGJd3wCes

5) Obama supports homosexuality and the debasement of marriage. Thinking that two men or two women can marry one another is not progressive. It's downright perverse and dumb.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jwmZDUbugdg

6) Obama is the least open president in history, despite what he called for. Why else would he have his records sealed and have paid millions to have them sealed?
Obama: Where have all his records gone?

7) Obama could very well be a closet Muslim. Considering his upbringing in Indonesia, an Islamic country, his pandering to Islamic countries, his speaking in Arabic, as well as his own slips of "my Muslim faith", it's fairly obvious that this is not out of the question.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tCAffMSWSzY

8) Obama is very well likely not a natural born American citizen, considering that he himself stated that he was born in Kenya, as did his wife, Michelle, stating that Kenya was his home country. Furthermore, Obama had some of his written work published stating that he was born in Kenya, and that he was raised in Indonesia and Hawaii. What's more, the electronic birth certificate released, years later, was as fake as they come, showing layers. When it was released and Obama was receiving a lot of flack about it, all of a sudden, surprise, Osama Bin Laden was found to provide a distraction and escape. Never mind the fact that it had been reported that Bin Laden was near death some seven or eight years earlier. This makes him a usurper, not eligible to hold the office of the president of the United States

Obama's own words, years before he was president.

Quite a psychotic screed, there.

I like Obama precisely because he doesn't appeal to the lunatic fringe.

America needs rational leadership.

Four more years. Seriously.

The extremists in the right-wing don't even realize that their words are viewed as crazy-talk. That's why people like Tod Akins don't put a filter on their views -- they think that their extremist views are popular mainstream views.

Obama is pro-abortion.
Obama did lie to the American public about the Libya attacks.
Obama did insinuate that Romney is a Bull Shi--er.
Obama does support homosexual marriage.
Obama is a Marxist, given his promotion and push of certain policies, as well as who he associates with, even in his own words (hung out with Marxist professors".
Obama is not an open president. He is very secretive.
Obama does have an affinity for Islam, given his recent statements, his speaking in Arabic, and his growing up in an Islamic country.

Are you even paying attention? Even when I provide evidence for these points of view, you're cognitively dissonant. That is the definition of denial.

Stand Down, Obama and your administration. All of you. Stand Down.

You've failed to carry out your responsibilities of office. You treated American lives, including that of an ambassador, the official representative of your country with utter disregard for their safety. You've lied to us about this tragedy so many times and in so many ways you can no longer credibly lead.

You're crass without regard for truth, law or common decency and deserve to be drummed out of office.

The numbers don't add up:

lower the taxes on the rich --- but i'm going to close tax loop holes to off set this - (home mortgage is a middle class loophole)

if you were actually going to fix loopholes that affected the rich then why change the structure if there is no change?

So you end up with much lower revenues for the gov, and you increase spending, then you use policies that create recession thinking the economy will grow, so as it shrinks the revenue drops even more. = massive deficits.

Then you have a candidate that flips on everything he has said, except taax breaks for the very wealthy

You have him choose a running mate that receieves money for supporting vulture capitalists

you have a vulture capitalist

Why would anyone support Romney?

On the otherhand ,without the help of Reps the economy has turned around, employment is vastly improved, stock market is great, incomes on a rise, and all the numbers are reflecting this. So you have someone that has been able to overcome the obsticles of the right and still accomplish alot... Why wouldn't you vote for Obama?

Flip Romney has probably had his best years in the last 4 , hence his not showing his taxes... Even he should vote Obama.

I am substantially better off today than I was under W. There is no other choice, and I voted for Nader in 2008.
