Interestingly, Cruz is actually hurting his popularity by looking the other way on this. Many have noticed and are NOT happy with Cruz's "not me, not my problem" attitude. Honest people won't elect someone who looks the other way and gives corruption a pass.

Either way, if Cruz says and does nothing about the corruption, fraud, and illegal acts in the MS Senate runoff, he'll lose voters. People are fed up.
Tea Party members are throwing a hissy fit!
While McDaniel and his cohorts may accuse Cochran of corruption, fraud and illegal acts, the onus is they have to PROVE it. And in order to gain another bite at the apple, they have to INVALIDATE 7000 votes. Otherwise, neither the Republican party, nor the State of Mississippi is going to foot the bill for another run-off. Primaries are EXPENSIVE.

They said they found half already and still over half the state left to check. Stay tuned.
I know. I'm enjoying it, too. 6,880 vote margins are too big to blame on a smattering of questionable votes. With the biggest county margin around 40%, it would take 17,500 questionable votes to even make a conclusion of a 7,000 margin shift reasonable (6,880/.4).
McDaniel himself said it. They've found 3300 so far.
And being as desperate as he is, who will do and say anything he is so desperate, with everyone knowing that, who would believe him (excluding TPs)?
Has the state started an official investigation of this? Would be interesting if they have. But if they haven't what McDaniel claims means nothing.
