Dr. Carson is not a serious candidate. He'll be out of the race by this time next year if not much much sooner. Let's concentrate on more serious candidates.

Agreed, I said in another post that the only truly serious GOP contenders are Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush, and (when/if he announces) Scott Walker. Everyone else is a joke looking for media attention so they can promote their latest book or line up a hosting gig on FOX News or some conservative talk radio show.

I LOVED what he said...we MUST get the spending under control...we MUST elect someone who loves this country and will uphold our Constitution..and we MUST use our brains and not fall for everything the media tells us!

Our country is in a big mess...and we need to stop the madness.

Cut taxes and regulations, and let American's do what they do best....work and make money. No more creating "victims"...if they want a piece of the American Dream, get out there and work for it...it's there, but it does take effort! Everything takes effort...

Whether he'll get the nomination or not...I don't know, but he sure as hell makes a lot of sense!

If the GOP had nominated true conservatives and not warmongering neocons, you'd probably have a Republican sitting in office right now.

I wouldn't vote for him, but he certainly must be extremely intelligent, considering his background as a neurosurgeon, author, and politician. That's why I was so surprised at his lazy, bland "declaration to run" speech. I really expected more.

Why did he have his eyes closed most of the time? Why did he sound so rehearsed, just like all the others? Why did it seem like a prayer meeting, with his hands clasped in front of him? He spoke too softly, almost like he was tired. Does he have ANY fire at all in him? BLEH.

oh god

so now for the next x number of years we're gonna have to hear morons compare this dumb unintelligent hateful brain surgeon to obama the great

cant wait to find out how many poor people carson has murdered

cant wait for the final tally of how many times he was called uncle tom, sambo, dumb, house/porch n*, stupid, moronic etc

should be interesting

he isnt a politician as he says...he is running simply to prove a point...in the end hopefully he makes his point and certain people are ezxposed for what they really are

So he spouted the same standard political boilerplate we have been hearing from both sides for decades and you were impressed? Is that really all it takes? I can't believe people actually fall for this stuff.
