Didnt Nate Silver predict that Sanders would peak at 25-30% nationally, and that Trump would be finished long before the primaries?

So how many Democrats would vote Republican if an FDR candidate like Sanders got the nomination? It's precisely Sanders' ability to not only get the Democrat vote, but his very strong showing among independents and first time voters and the disillusioned who normally dont vote that makes Sanders such a strong candidate for the general election. He inspires!

Hillary is all about "we cant really do any of the stuff he proposes". The campaign message is all about acting like losers. Its this total lack of inspiring message that caused the Democrats to get trounced in 2014. The total opposite of the Republicans, who loudly and clearly says what they want, and dont give a damn about what the Dems think, and it inspires their grassroots to vote.

For once, the Democrats have an alternative, a real FDR democrat which actually stands for something, not just another corporate Democrat who think the Republicans will play nice once in office.

The Republicans will have a field day with a self-professed socialist candidate.

And quite frankly, Hillary had that same message about Obama -- "we can't really do any of the stuff he proposes" and history kind of vindicates her...

Sanders has been doing better in virtually every head to head matchup against every Republican than Hillary has.

Saunders ahead in a neighboring state shouldn't be that much of a surprise.

Nonsense. The Bern will probably win, but it ain't gonna be by 27. You have to take polls with a grain of salt.

Nobody has a clue of what socialism is. People love social security and medicare. He's as much socialist as FDR and Truman, two of the most popular presidents in US history and he's running on a political platform that has clear majority support among the public, on issue after issue. It's absurd that even Democrats attack Sanders as some sort of commie, a guy that stands for all the values the Democrat Party stood for from 1930-1970, the social democratic golden age of America.

The loser mentality of trying to inspire voters by being more like the GOP will not bring people to the polls to vote. 2014 was the lowest voter turnout for Democrats in over 70 years. Repeating the same mistake should not be an option. People want real change, not more cronyism. Trump has the outsider appeal which made it easy for him to destroy a status quo politician like Bush. Its impossible for Trump to use his main weapon as an outsider not beholden to any special interests when up against Sanders.
