yep, that's why they're new general election poll that shows Trump tied with Hillary, when every other poll shows her with a commanding lead, is a joke.
Well, to burst your bubble, there was a George Washington University poll last week that showed Hillary only 3 points ahead of Trump.
Hillary continues to drop in the polls. Last year she was leading Trump by 20pts. She is tied with Trump now, and as Trump put's it, 'I haven't even started on Hillary yet'.
Don't forget about New Jersey and West Virginia - certain wins for Trump.
Our county (in WV) released numbers yesterday that I found really interesting.....
18,000 registered (R)
17,000 registered (D)
13,000 registered (I)
Independents have now almost caught the two major parties. Add in those registered (L), (G) or (M) and it won't be too much longer before the (D)'s and (R)'s are a minority.
Trump up only 2 in one poll today. Maybe Cruz has life after all.
Nope, another poll has Trump up by 9 today. Even if you average them out Trump is still comfortably ahead enough where he should win, that is if you can trust polls.

I is the biggest party in several states already including my own (AZ). While it is encouraging, it doesn't portend all that much. Most I's aren't all that I. They still tend to vote pretty much along a party line. Then again, they don't have much choice as the primary systems and state laws have it rigged so that true independents are severely handicapped.

Gallup: Democratic, Republican Identification Near Historical Lows. Nationally Independents or Republicans and Democrats that feel they are independent voters are now in control - they already are the majority. That was last year. I would not be surprised if that number did not jump after this year's election.
Can independent vote either way in California? My husband had to register as Repub to vote for Trump. We don't know if it goes through in time before we leave for a vacation.

not in less the rules have changed in the past few years. Ca has a no cross over policy, which is fine. I think if someone wants to take the time to re-register that is fine, if someone doesn't want to take the time or just doesn't have it, I do not think a person should be able to have any say on who one party chooses to nominate.
