And what is your suggestion then? That they vote for Trump? They don't know who Bernie Sanders is.

They do what most sane people will do, choose the lesser of two evils. That's why they don't vote republican. I wouldn't vote either for a party who has a bunch of followers and radio hosts who go around making false accusations about my ethnicity.

Does at least 50% of the voting black population receive entitlements? Commit crimes? No, not even 50% of the black population does, let alone black voters who tend to be more educated

I already told you they don't know who Bernie Sanders is. Why are you conveniently ignoring something I had previously posted several times?

Many African Americans sadly seem to be really afraid of learning about any other candidate than Hillary. They see her as the dear leader and there isnt anything anyone can do about it. Elderly black women voted for her 96-3. Its like in the former Soviet Union. 79% of all voters believed the economic system in America favors the wealthy, but a huge chunk of people believed Sanders would reward his wealthy donors once in office. They voted Hillary.

Then the question becomes why doesn't more of the African-American population know about Bernie Sanders? The Latino population knew about and voted for Sanders in Nevada. If the African -American polulation doesn't know know about Sanders but they do know about Trump then the problem lies elsewhere, not with Trump.

First, it's important to recognize that black people are not a monolithic voting block or culture. There are a great many hard working, successful blacks, many of which will not vote Dem. However, the "stereotypical" inner city welfare queen, BLM supporting idiot or criminal, yes, they will naturally vote Dem. And that's true regardless of race. Takers vote for whoever promises the most "free sh*t".

Yes, I noticed the same thing. The African-American politicos and other religious leaders appear to have an agenda which may not be aligned with the best interests of the people they claim to represent.

While black people may not be totally politically monolithic, they are as close to a monolith as is practically possible. The question is why does such a diverse group vote so monolithically especially when it is clear that their situation is deteriorating.

They won't vote for Trump because they won't vote republican. Many republican radio hosts and their followers have stated for years that black people are only interested in abusing entitlements and that they are a bunch of criminals. Trump himself has retweeted a false black crime statistics post that a white supremacist wrote. He has also retweeted other messages from white supremacists.

Some examples are the previous posts from Waldo Kitty and Straight Shooter.
True. Alienate a certain segment of the population, and they won't vote for you. I have voted Republican before. 2004, Bush Jr. First time ever voting. What turned me against him? The whole debacle surrounding Hurricane Katrina. The Iraq War was secondary. I have considering voting Republican, but I've noticed so many on the right complaining about Black people. That is enough to turn me off. Here is the truth regarding me. I work. I have a job. I don't need any entitlements. Just give me a job and I'll be fine. What bugs me are those politicians who can appeal to those who have a fear of Blacks. I fear this because I'm Black sometimes, it does sit in the back of my mind that there are those who would desire to turn back the clock to the days where Blacks had to "know their place".

And for Trump, I would say Trump is the main man many don't like. If it were Colin Powell, or even Dr. Carson, said candidates might do better with Blacks. Bob Dole did better with Blacks than former President George W. Bush did.

So why do African-Americans still support a candidate who will clearly continue to work for Wall Street (the Clintons and Obama gave them $trillions), Big Pharma (Obamacare was a $trillion gift), and most of all herself? Baffles me.
Either they like the way things have been going for them, which contradicts all the whining we've been hearing; or

Hillary is promising big things. I've seen reputable accounts of her campaign being entrenched in many black communities for the past year-plus. Indoctrination takes time.

Has the GOP ever addressed the cost of tuition? What about the unbalanced incarceration rates? What about minimal wage rates? I haven't heard much of the issues facing minorities other than immigration and stripping away the Health Care Reform Act. Dems seem to be addressing the issues facing the lower econonic demographics while the GOP candidates are insulting each other during debates and rallies.

The last GOP to be president left the country with a job-loss rate of 100k per month, in a banking, housing, automobile crisis, as well as two quagmire wars. WE WERE THREATENING TO ENTER A SEVERE RECESSION or even a depression. And the GOP has done nothing but be obstructionists for President Obama.

What exactly was the GOP doing that was so great for the minorities?

Blame your GOP candidates if they're not capturing that demographic. And their frontrunner fails to disavow the KKK. Did you really need to ask the question of your OP?
