I disagree and I admire Pope Francis. I'm sure Hillary Clinton does too. The fact is, he didn't invite any of the candidates to meet with him, not even Bernie Sanders.

No pictures? C'mon, not even a cell phone video or selfie? Well, the Pope doesn't seem to recall meeting Bernie Sanders. Is the Pope lying? If he said hello, as he does to everyone who walks by the Pope, that certainly isn't the same as having an audience with the pope or even a brief discussion.

Pope Francis Denies Holding Meeting With Sanders

As I've written many times, Hillary is called a liar by the Sanders campaign, but Bernie has lied on many occasions but his loyal disciples just brush it off as an attack on his candidacy.
I think the Bernie supporters, not necessarily on this forum mind you, don't want to admit that their candidate is just another politician and truly believe this guy is an outsider, political revolution type of guy, etc. I think supporters of their candidate whether its Democrat or GOP would get along just fine if we all agree we'really just choosing the least worse person.

As Clooney explained clearly on "Meet The Press" he got out of his limo and tried to talk to the protesters, but they were yelling loudly at him, calling names (some he could not repeat) and saying he "sucked" as an actor. One protester shouted he was a lousy Batman.

The fundraiser was being held for down-ticket Democrats, that is, candidates who are running for office in Congress and local governments so the Democrats can gain more power over the Republicans who are trying to control our country and impose their views on all Americans. Clooney admitted he hates fundraisers but felt it was necessary to raise money for the DNC to fight the Republicans in November, since the Koch brothers and others give them unlimited means of support.

Sanders DID NOT....I repeat .... DID NOT go to the Vatican to meet with the Pope. It's just not true. Now that he is being pressured to talk about why his campaign lied, he said he & Jane were able to talk to Pope Francis for about 5 minutes but they don't have any pictures and can't confirm that he even saw Pope Francis.

Sanders is an atheist, so what's the attraction with meeting the pope?
