Bernie is embarrassing himself and the party. Instead of being big and smart enough to know when it is over, he keeps trying to hang in there. All he is doing is giving Trump a better shot at winning this thing. He doesn't have a snowballs chance in Hell, but he still thinks he does.

He needs to get over it and be a man and do the right thing.

I keep reading on this forum that the Democratic primary was "very close" this year. When a candidate wins by 4 million votes, why is that "close?" Clinton and Obama were tied in 2008. Sanders did remarkably well, better than expected. However, he won small states and Clinton had a solid lead throughout most of the race. In fact, she won the top 9 out of the 10 most populous states in the U.S.

The party should be embarrassed. They rigged it for Hillary from day 1 and despite that advantage, only the Super Delegates can hand her the nomination. She failed to do it with voted on pledged votes.

You just don't give up, do you? I don't know if this includes all the DC delegates from Tues, but she already has 2219 pledged delegates, a lot more than Obama had in 2008. Clinton won the primary no matter how you slice it - she won by getting the majority of pledged delegates, millions of more votes and several more states. Bernie put up a good fight and was a positive influence in the primary, but the contest wasn't even close.

The young people that support Bernie are the future of the Democratic Party.

I wonder why it is that younger people are attracted to Bernie ? What do they see that inspires them ? I keep hearing about how this age group loves him, and have never really heard a good answer. I am almost Bernie's age, and I see him as a bumbling old man.

Just like how so many are completely unable to understand how Trump beat the establishment many like yourself do not understand that the Sanders thing is not about party.

It's simply not about (D) and (R). I've supported Sanders for a long time now. I still do. I am not a (D) and no matter what Sanders does or says I will never vote for Hillary.

While I am sure it is giving him some sleepless nights I believe Bernie does understand that this is bigger and more important than either party. It's about tearing them down, not building them up.

I'm 54 and completely behind Bernie. As I note above what you do not understand is it's not about Bernie. It's about ending the cycle of putting Wall Streets needs ahead of everything else. Enough with their wars, bail outs and hand outs.

The fight is nowhere near over. Tear it down Bernie.
