Soldiers in the United States military were responsible for securely delivering money to Gov't Departments in Iraq like the Department of Health, The Department of Finance. These Soldiers delivered the money to Iraq Gov't officials as part of the initial rebuilding of Iraq after Saddam was crushed and after we bombed the living daylights about of Baghdad. He (Trump) is talking about our Soldiers.

This said, if he was talking about U.S. soldiers, he is the biggest jerk on the planet. Many soldiers lost their lives, many families suffered. You don't talk about soldiers like this.

He's right either way. Our government, Our officers, Our contractors, Our agencies,
Our soliders... there was and is corruption. Drugs. Money. Sex. You name it.
You people live under a box. I can't blame you if your news has only come from
CNN or Fox News in the last 15 years.

“I want to know, who are the soldiers that had that job? Because I think they’re living very well right now, whoever they may be.”

See post #12 - an American vet who was there distributing the money thinks it was aimed at him.

In the course of my job, I was entrusted with a lot of taxpayer money, all in American cash.
As a result, we instantly became a high value target for insurgents who wanted to relieve us of said cash at one of our weekly gatherings.

whatever.

There will always be some level of corruption, war crimes.

There is always “responsibility dilemma” for just war theory.

"Donald Trump yesterday, for the second time, appeared to accuse US troops in Iraq of being thieves.

Trump had made the same accusation a year ago, suggesting this wasn’t simply an off-the-cuff mistake. Also, it’s difficult to believe, as the Trump campaign is now alleging, that Trump was referring to Iraq troops, when Trump made the same claim a year ago."

Trump (again) says US troops are thieves. Vets explode in anger. - AMERICAblog News

If you're a communicator it is your job to ensure you use words, sentences, phrases to make sure your point is clear. It isn't the responsibility of the listener to have to guess what the **** you're talking about.

If you're running for POTUS, you better ****ing know how to communicate. This is the second day in three days where he's left us confused because he wan't clear during his speech.

The listeners have a responsibility too. To question that which they are not clear on. Not to insert words where they want in assuming what is said. But they hear what they want to hear even when it isn't said because that's how they roll. Then place blame on something else while not taking any responsibility for what they do. When done time after time it can't help but be noticed. that's just the way they roll.

Speeches don't work like that. Not question and answer. Professional reporters who make a living in listening came out with the same understanding: he insulted our troops.

Trump hates our soldiers. He tried to stiff the veterans earlier this month and now he calls them thieves. Trump is the thief.
