Thank you for posting that link. That site is a factual & nonpartisan site used both by conservatives & liberals at my office who are looking for the truth.
The trumpies have to resort to the politics of personal assault & destruction when their view or candidate is challenged so Mr. Khan and his wife have been identified as targets and vilified with lies.
It's unfortunate that the trumpists also resort to posting & spreading untrue garbage here & in the MSM
The dems most likely put a crack pot on the world stage and are now begging him to stop. However, Khan isn't your typical passive Christian - he's going to use his stage to further Islam.
By all accounts, the man is an upstanding citizen. He is well educated and has a deep respect for and knowledge of the Constitution, unlike most conservatives. And his son did way more for this country by way of his example in service and putting his life on the line than the people who criticize him.
Of course, conservatives who have nothing but division and racial/religious hatred to spread, and who have never sacrificed or served in any way, are quick to smear the decent people who try to move beyond this and who DID put their life on the line for this country.

Just because my brothers, brothers-in-law, husband, son and father-in-law were not killed doesn't mean they didn't put their lives on the line just as that young man did. But unlike that man's father, they will all tell you they did it so you could have the freedom to like, dislike, think or say what you please because they are loyal Americans and are not on the make to profit from a relatives death. When you try to use a persons death to gain what you want, other people are not the ones dishonoring him, you are.
And a stunt it was! It was discovered that the copy of the Constitution he held up was purchased for him just hours before he gave his speech, which had also been prepared for him hours earlier.
Don't just state something of that ilk but rather "source" it from a nonpartisan fact-based source.
Honestly.. Some folks seem to think that they can throw out anything up against the wall in the hopes that some of it will stick as would ****.
I thought they went into hiding. Anyway, the fact that he conflates his son's death with illegal immigration is telling. His son died in 2004 under Bush presidency in the hands of Al-Qaeda. Trump was against the war, fought and defeated Bush's brother and wants to keep ISIS out of the country. By any measure, Khan should have spoken at the RNC.

So let's recap it. He says, Sharia law can't be implemented unless the 14th Amendment is amended. What I would have liked to hear him say is something along the lines of "Well I am a Muslim and I don't believe that Sharia Law should supersede anything in the Constitution." But look closely, he does not say that, he just says that it can't unless the Constitution is changed.
Also what is up with the statement: "I would love to sit down and talk on, what Sharia law are we talking about? There is no such thing." Obviously he is an EXPERT on Sharia law or at least very smart enough to have written a 14 page brief on it in the Houston Journal of International Law. Is he really saying that there is no connection between forms of Sharia law and discrimination/violence against women? Then he seems to insinuate somehow British laws among other things have to do with the persecution of women by radical Islamists?

If you want to impugn the statements of Mr. Khan or his motivations or his belief in the U.S. Constitution or just absolutely do feel threatened by him, I challenge you to listen with an open mind to the following audio link of him on the NPR All Things Considered news program of Friday.
There is a 10 minute version & a full 32 minute version of his interview of that day.
If you are interested in hearing things that may challenge your expressed viewpoints as well as what you perhaps have heard elsewhere, then give it a listen.
As for Frank Gaffney, he is highly respected and extremely knowledgeable on Islam. Another source you may want to check out is Robert Spencer.
What you lack is even a basic knowledge of Islam, and their view of themselves as the only true believers. They are killing for "Allah," which they believe will earn them a place in "paradise." Sharia, they believe, is above all other law, even (for those living in the US) above our Constitution. These people represent grave danger for the United States and our way of life, and should not be so easily dismissed by the uninformed, like yourself.
Get informed. Learn, before you speak about something you know nothing about.
On the contrary, Frank Gaffney and Robert Spencer are notorious Islamophobic cranks who are identified as such.
It's a good read to see how stupid someone was when creating this fake document. Most have been a Trump supporter.
