Goodness gracious!

(Although I don't agree with him, I see his point.)

Okay, so now my question is... as a Libertarian, would he be cutting hand outs? I mean, I always thought that Libertarians were rather "Darwinistic" (did I just make that up?) when it came to sink or swim...

Who cares. People voting for Johnson don't give a crap about Trump. Trump is just as bad as Hillary, possibly worse.

Edit: sorry quoted the wrong person.

No thanks.
This is 2016.

So why would anyone care what Johnson said 15 years ago if his position has changed? 15 years ago I had a firm "send 'em back" position. In 2001 Nevada approved a constitutional ban on gay marriage. In 2001 George Bush had an 80% approval rating. All past history.

Things change. People change. Maybe you should, too.

I would expect fewer handouts from a Libertarian. But we are America and we will always need to have safety nets in place for those who cannot fend for themselves.

I like your term "Darwinistic".

Johnson does seem to be hurting Hillary more than Trump, which is not something that I had predicted. Then again, libertarians have been leaning left for a minute now.

I've read some things about Johnson and I'm not too confident in him. I don't know, I think we as a country needs some kind of aggression, who is a go getter and not someone who sits back and says it is what it is. Our country has done too much of that.

I'd vote for Johnson if it weren't for the open borders. That's the kooky part of libertarianism.

It looks pretty even in FL. Polls went down equally for Clinton and the orange orangutan.

Donald Trump can't put a wall across every bridge that crosses the Rio Grande. These roads that connect border towns are used for commuting to work, store deliveries, vacationing & other visiting.

I've not heard Gary say he wants to get rid of the Border Patrol, have you? If you've seen such a claim, can you tell me where it was, please? He clearly does not want to let in suspected terrorists or criminals.

Gary Johnson wants immigrants working here to get work visas, social security numbers and pay taxes, not sneak in and get automatic citizenship. He does want to offer a path to citizenship, for those that qualify.

Gary Johnson is one of the most honest politicians I've ever heard of! A genuinely friendly guy and glad to answer any questions. The Libertarian Party cares about the 100% equally and nearly every party position is what the majority wants. Gary is smart, abnormally honest, hard-working, kind to all, creative, no big ego.

Where did you read that? I know Gary wants to replace corporate & personal Federal income taxes with a national consumption tax (sales tax), but this can only be done with approval of Congress. Also, Gary would not be in favor of making more people homeless (or starving people). Gary has also mentioned a "prebate" for the poor & some things would likely be excluded as basic essentials. Wouldn't Congress have to be allowed some say in this? Then, it would be approved or vetoed by the President. Best wishes.
