Yet apparently you think Clinton doesn't fall into that category. Alrighty then.....

Specifically, what federal long term capital gains rate for the highest bracket would be high enough to suit you?

Who qualifies as "the rich"?

Would you find a way to make adjustments for the local cost of living, or would you have the cutoffs be the same for every corner of the U.S. ?

I agree, that occasionally we need to refresh membership in the elite, and rotate between its various elements. But all stable and thriving societies are ruled by their elite. Exactly who constitutes "the elite" varies and evolves, but if it ever happens that the rabble grab genuine power, society unravels. Exhibit A was the Soviet Revolution - of which, coincidentally, yesterday was the 99th anniversary.

Lolz....last 8 years the rich got richer....but Hillary will be different than the republican that has been in office? Lol.

You end up voting for politicians not much different than what the Republicans offer but they've managed to convince you they are miles apart.

Oh and please note in 2008 it was the Hillary voters that were called racist by the Obama voters.

Sooo easy to control people by painting others as "racist" or "communist" or whatever.

But please, who am I to argue with the "unifiers" that call others racist and misogynistic.

Thread reminds me of my late FIL whom was a life-long democrat, great guy.

I had to console him in 2010 after the Republicans kicked the crap out of the Dems in pretty much every election.

These things go in cycles, heck the Dems have shifted pretty far right on corporations etc. in the last 20 years and on many other topics like guns it's just lip-service. Reps have started shifting left on social issues and they have their lip-service topics too.

*shrug*
