The Democrats if they believe this can start first with New York and California to show good faith for this belief and then the GOP can follow suit.

no way Democrats would want proportional electoral college for their big prize blue states like California, Illinois, and New York.

there is a reason that a movement to change to proportional has never been done in those states and never will.....democrats only complain when their side loses in the electoral college and wins the national popular votes thanks to California but they get over it and when their side wins again, they forget about it.

Yes yes, I know, you folks all hate Nate Silver, but the guy lives and breathes data, and gave Trump the best odds of any non-partisan polling guy.
Did you miss Silver's telling comment in the first twit? "Clinton improved more in counties with only paper ballots". You see, it is easier for the Dems to stuff paper ballots into the boxes than to try to manipulate the computer ballots.

this is not a fairly easy fix.....because to change state laws on the electorate you need a super majority in the state legislature and in order to work like you plan, ALL 50 states have to be proportional and that is not going to happen.
Considering the democrats won the popular vote twice but lost the electoral college and the White House and it's never happened to a republican, I think you're 100% wrong.

that's because most Americans have taken American Civics and know the purpose of the Electoral College.......We are a Constitutional Republic not a pure Democracy.

National Popular vote is not even mention in the constitution, its meaningless......so I could care less what you think....the Electoral College is here to stay.

Actually, there is a multi-state effort to fix the electoral college problem and it is not proportional (which is just another rigged system). It is call National Popular Vote. States who are passing the law agree to have all their electors cast votes for whomever wins the popular vote. It takes effect when states totaling 270 electoral votes have passed it. Right now it is at 165 so we need another 105 and we can put this anachronism behind us and let the people decide.

Working her butt off ? Since when is setting up a GoFundMe page for her party working her butt off ...

BTW, contributions to the Jill Stein vacation fund are not tax deductible ...

I'm all for it ... just as soon as we get rigid voter ID requirements in place nationally so illegal aliens and dead people can't vote and people can't vote more than once.

Good to know the green party is in the tank for the elitists. It's awesome to know all the organizations that have outed themselves this election. They're all on the block to become extinct.

If you point this out, they will lash out at Trump, ahem...it really isn't an enigma to figure this out...lol.

It is obvious that there is ZERO discrepancy between counties using paper and electronic ballots unless you are daft and don't understand basic realities like Philadelphia County has different voter demographics than Adams County.

A recount will not overturn any of Trumps leads let alone 3 states.
People on these boards have excitedly admitting to donating money, lol. It reminds me of a quote about a fool and his money. Stein is monetizing the liberal hysterics.

she is stupid but more stupid are the people donating money on her website.........she was on CNN and she admitted there No evidence of fraud but she wants an audit on just 3 states because the people don't trust the system, that's her logic and evidence over all this.

this is a joke!
