Trump/Pence 2020!
I hope The Donald, and Mr. Pence, do a great job. I hope they are the anti-establishment leaders we have needed for a long time. I hope they get things fixed.

But that being said, let's not worry about 2020. Let's get the things done that need to get done, and let 2020 take care of itself.

LOL. A bold prediction. I think you are getting pretty far ahead of yourself. This is the honeymoon phase. Let's see what happens when things are "real" and he is actually in the Oval Office trying to govern. Easier said than done believe me.

We should all write down notes for the state of the economy, unemployment and gas prices on Obamas last day in office. Let's then revisit those notes 18 months into a Trump term and see if he is making positive progress or if things decline and worsen.

Please do, but don't just write sticky notes. Get into the weeds and for example, write an essay how the U3 rate is affected by the creation of low paying jobs making it appear that everyone is laughing all the way to the bank.

I am sure you understand the price of gas, and the stock market have little to do with the job a president is doing. We could do the same by going back and checking the situation when Obama had been in office a year or so; or even Reagan. You are right about only one thing: the honeymoon phase. Yes, he will be in that for the first 6 months to a year.

Except when Nixon employed wage and price controls to tamp down inflation.

I get your point. Many CD posters think Obama attends every Federal meeting in every department, in every state and town in the country. And makes all the decisions, everyday.

I can hardly stomach the thought of four years with this imbecile in power, let alone eight. If we don't get into World War III, it'll be in spite of him, not because of him.

Left block and self-righteous media haven't learned anything from this election, in fact they doubled down on the moralizing after the Trump win. I would expect that short of a major recession Trump will easily be re-elected. Bad news for them is that the stock market has pointing to a major economic boost. People with better pay and jobs aren't going to all of a sudden go back to the Democrats just so they can let trannies in the girls shower room

They also think that he spends all his time on the golf course at the same time.
