Obama will get the nomination and then the GOP will have at him without distraction and make him appear worse than one of the 9/11 hijackers. He'll whine, have his operatives playing the race card and it will be chaotic. The Dem. lament will be "Why didn't we back Hillary?!"
I really hope she won't campaign for him. She needs to distance herself from the blood-letting and gnashing of teeth to come, put up her feet, sip a fine cognac and enjoy the show.
all this is very well but make a bookmark and read it here when he loses the election: Obama would lose to Mccain (unless they do a double ticket or something not contemplated in my prediction)

The truth is that this Daley doesn't have as much power, he won't be rigging any elections anytime soon, he's too focused on getting the olympics and riding his bicycle.
I thnik the same things that have stopped him from getting the democratric nomination by number of state delegates. He seems to have lose alot of the stream brought on by his newness and the change message.general elections are alot harder to win than nominations really.I doub that hillary would want the VP position afterall tehre is a clear chance that the next presdient will not get two terms judging from the past with situations like now.
1. His philosophy has always been either dazzle them with brilliance or spray them with bullshot. Eventually the latter is going to cost him big time. He has gotten away with so much pure unadultraded, consentrated bull poop that he is often up to his knees in it. He gets away with it because the press is afraid if they call him on it somebody will call them "racist". That's what the Obama camp always does in defense of Obama. If he is criticized they yell "racist-racist-racist" like Gomer Pyle yelling "citizen's arrest-citizen's arrest-citizen's arrest"! The fact that Obama can lay on thick layers of bullshot is confounding to his critics because he does it with a big toothy grin and seems so genuine. He's been lucky so far but even Thetis' son proved vulnerable. A footnote in mythology to be sure!
2. Obama's shady and unfortuante associations.Jerimiah Wright who still says Obama is lying (5/7) for political reasons. William Ayers, Anti-American Terrorist bomber who tried to kill goverment employees and got away with it. Tony Rezko, Chicago slumlord, real estate swindler and mobster. Louis Farrakhan leader of racist hate group the Nation of Islam. Frank Davis Communist poet and labor activist. Evidently Obama prefers to associate with low life creeps and criminals. One can only guess, given his history, he would continue that pattern if elected to the presidency. Would he appoint a begiling Antigone who would hang herself figuratively to protect illegal and uncivil behavior? It's Greek to me!
3. Obama's rabid supporters are frightningly rude and crass. Their fevor reminds seniors of the Nazi youth's fevor for Adolph Hitler. If Obama is elected these people will soon see that "CHANGE" isn't going to happen or that it will be painfully slow at best. Obama has promised "Change we can Believe in" but anyone with any knowledge of how government works knows that there are 3 branches of government and the presidency is just one of those. In order for real change to take place all three branches must work in concert. Will the Obama youth become as Aello and Octpete, the Harpies who tormented King Phineus? I hope you aren't Mything the point here!
4. Michelle Obama, Barack made sure that he praised her as a mother at the conclusion of the Wolfe Blitzer interview and you could tell he would have been in deep do do if he hadn't. As they say in da hood. "Michelle got a 'tude! He don' want be messin wit her." She has shown her snappy little temper when reporters have asked questions that irritated her. If elected Obama has got to keep her out of the public eyesight. She is definitely a lose cannon politically! Echidna was half snake, half woman. Man! you'll never guess what her favorite meal was!
