Not sure Jones is helping Desantis by endorsing him. Jones' fans would, I expect, for the most part vote for Desantis over a Democratic candidate regardless of his endorsement. I think Jones' endorsement would be a liability among a majority of independents, which is who he needs to win over.

I don't see a true leader with DeSantis, he has all the attributes of a puppeteer, his advisors/donors telling him what to do every step of the way. And maybe his wife as well.
